SUMMARY:NRA Condensed CCW (Concealed Carry) Class
DESCRIPTION:This class is consolidated to fit into a shorter time required to complete the requirements for a Colorado Concealed Carry permit. This training is designed for the advanced student who does not require the full course and wishes to fulfill the requirements for a CCW permit and has limited time availability. \nThis class is crucial for those who wish to apply for a CCW permit and for those who already have a permit and currently conceal carry. Many courses which are grant valid certificates to apply for a CCW permit do not address the many critical skills and mental aspects required to safely conceal carry; including: Draw from concealed holster\, Shooting with one hand\, Defensive accuracy\, Flash sight picture\, Situational awareness\, Mental preparation before an event and after\, and many other important skills. \nUpon completion\, the certificate is valid to apply for a Colorado Conceal Carry permit and may also be used for many other states as well.

Critical skills and training are required to effectively deal with these scenarios. This class focuses on such skills as: room clearing\, using your knowledge of home layout to your advantage\, preparing your home defensively\, use of cover & concealment\,and proper caliber and firearm selection for home defense. This course also covers legal considerations in the use of force in self-defense scenarios.

We seek to help gun owners become completely safe and comfortable handling and shooting their firearm. This class also teaches the basics of pistol marksmanship. \nUpon completion\, the certificate issued for this class is valid to apply for a Colorado Conceal Carry Permit if the student desires. However\, it is highly recommended that those wishing to conceal carry take the NRA CCW class which teaches extremely important information focused on carry concerns and range exercises\, including drawing from a concealed holster.
