NRA Personal Protection in the Home Class

This class is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to defend their home. Threats to the home may occur when a person is at home or away and returns home. Critical skills and training are required to effectively deal with these scenarios. This class focuses on such skills as: room clearing, using your knowledge of home layout to your advantage, preparing your home defensively, use of cover & concealment,and proper caliber and firearm selection for home defense. This course also covers legal considerations in the use of force in self-defense scenarios.
